At Coastal Clarity Allied Health, we offer personalised Developmental Education services across homeschool, and community settings.
Our Developmental Education therapy sessions are personalised, strengths-based, and thoughtfully designed to support children and individuals to build confidence, independence, and meaningful skills for everyday life. We take a warm, person-centred approach, working alongside each individual and their support network to create sessions that feel safe, engaging, and empowering.
Sessions can take place in the home, school, or community, allowing support to occur in environments that are familiar and relevant. Each session is tailored to the individual’s goals, interests, and unique needs, ensuring therapy is both purposeful and meaningful.
We focus on developing a range of practical life skills, including social communication, emotional awareness and regulation, building independence, navigating transitions, and adapting to change. Our aim is to support individuals to feel more capable, connected, and confident in their daily lives, while celebrating their strengths every step of the way.
Our telehealth Developmental Education sessions provide flexible, individualised one-on-one support delivered through a secure and easy-to-use online platform. This approach allows clients and families to access high-quality support from the comfort of their own environment, making therapy more convenient and consistent.
Telehealth can be a great option for increasing accessibility and flexibility, while also reducing the time and cost associated with travel. Sessions are tailored to each individual’s goals and needs, ensuring support remains meaningful, engaging, and effective in an online setting.
We offer comprehensive assessments and reports, including (but not limited to) the Vineland-3, ABAS-3, Functional Capacity Assessments, and Sensory Profiles. These assessments provide a detailed understanding of a child or individual’s strengths, support needs, and functional abilities across everyday environments.
Our reports are clear, practical, and evidence-based, helping to inform goal development, guide intervention planning, and support funding applications. We aim to ensure recommendations are meaningful, easy to understand, and directly relevant to everyday life, empowering individuals, families, and support teams to move forward with confidence.
